Mexico Calderon berates U.S. after casino attack

yes if only drugs were legal in the us then mexico would be at peace....

is that pretty much it....

Would help, but it's also the fact that Mexico is built on crap that doesn't allows for honest republicanism. A nation is built based on its people. A people that wents freedom and liberty and a government that works for them=a nation that is based on solid idea's and can work, but a nation like mexico is built on crime and people that are violent, that don't think in a democratic mind set about the same as we Americans do.

You're referring to the right wing government of Mexico?

Recently watched "Assasin of Youth" 1937.

Better than Reefer Madness.

Weed was illegal long before heroin, cocaine, meth etc.........

Must have been a reason.......

How powerful would the drug cartels be if drugs were not a black market item?

How many guns would they buy if they couldn't sell drugs?

Mexicos problems surrounding the drug cartels START with US laws.

This is all, absolutely true. Although I would also point out that Mexico must take responsibility for its own people, and that the Mexican government turning a blind eye to corruption and the narcotics trade for years allowed this situation to develop, there is no denying that the drug sales in, and weapons shipped from the U.S. is fueling the cartels.

Sure I can sign onto that, too, DT.

Obviously if no Mexican was willing to become a drug criminal or a corrupt offical, then Mexico would not be the source of US drugs.

Additionally, Mexico is, I am informed, ALSO developing a drug culture and it now has its own drug consuming market.

But the original source for the billions that the Mexican drug cartels now use to pervert the Mexican governments WAS US Dollars.

BLACK MARKETS create rich organized crime sydicates.

And there is a BLACK MARKET for drugs mostly thanks to our own STUPID STUPID drug law policies.

Mexico and the USA are both reaping what their laws have sown for them.

But Mexico is still safe to travel..........................

Eric Holder has made it even more dangerous with his sickening failed "Fast & Furious' Gun Sting. American Tax Dollars were used to arm Mexican Drug cartels. The Mexican Government has every right to be pissed at our Government. Eric Holder should probably be arrested.
