A good one I dug recently was called Sunterra. They sound like the black metal version of Lacuna Coil. Very cool.

I first heard Voivod from a Grand Theft Auto Soundtrack I think. (Yeah, a GAME has a SOUNDTRACK! )

I had a thrash metal band called Skull Fuck once.

We did a cover of Dean Martin's that’s Amore which made it to 10,791 in the charts.
