The new Republican House Majority Leader will be from largely rich, and Blue, California. The new Republican, "Other" Leader, will be from largely poor, and Red, Louisiana. There are lots of liberal states like California, and lots of Conservative states. . .also like. . .well. . . Louisiana. And so anyone maybe wants to notice a kind of Colonial motif, to the New Congressional Brand. Rich White People are not unknown to U. S. History. . .dragging along the. . .Southerners have a word for, "Trash."

After the New Orleans 9th Ward left for the more gentle climes--of anywhere else--Red State Louisiana did advertise for Hispanic labor to come and to settle down, there. Immigration was on everyone's mind, in Louisiana. Understanding judicial mentalities, in fact, then likely the Red States remain of the opinion that the Framers did not have a President Barack Obama in mind(?). In the last election, in fact, The Red State, Democratic candidates, did not seem to have a President Barack Obama in mind! Likely even the participants, largely White--in the Civil War--did not have a President, Barack Obama, in mind.

Clearly unbeknownst to Red States--Hispanics vote. They even go so far as to send elected representatives to the federal Congress, and largely from Blue, rich states and areas.. Ted Cruz is of Hispanic Heritage--and of a distinctly Cuban, Conservative brand--and from a Red State, Texas. The Texas Congressional Hispanic delegation, itself, is your basic Blue. Texas is high on the list of awardees of federal money. Unlike the liberal rich states, Texas median household income trends down to the middle and lower--like in so many Red States. The new Senator Cotton will likely be taking up a summer residence, even in Term One, in Texas itself.

The Most Latino Congress Ever Is Coming In 2015

Hispanic Heritage Congressional members are about 8% of the total of all the state delegations. In the link, that is about half of the current population total, likely able to be represented.

Some suggest that a Senator Udall, and a Florida Democratic Governor, would have been an outcome from the recent Immigration, Immigration Budget remarks of the President of the United States. Supposing there were one--a President--in the election debates in the Red States--then maybe an Iowa, Georgia, and even a Carolina--and Alaska--would have had the more purplish look that population change is creating.

Likely the Framers had not clue one: About what 2014, or 2015, would even look like. Then there is the Tiny Tent, TeePea Party, with not clue about what 2016, likely will look like.
