I grew up on, "Leave it to Beaver"... "Andy Griffith" ..."Bewitched" ... I suppose.. I'll start with those...:)

I seem to recall "Our Miss Brooks" as the first one I ever watched..

McHale's Navy, Hogan's Heroes, The Brady Bunch, Good Times, All in the Family...

I used to love "Our Miss Brooks"

Do any of you remember "My little Margie" ?

How about The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show ?

How about Blondie and Dagwood?

My favorite sitcom from my childhood has got to be the Dobie Gillus Show.

Now DGS was a lot later (in early 60s) the aforementioned early 50's shows.

We're showing our relative ages in this thread, that's for damned sure.

Yeah. I still watch Golden Girl reruns though. Cheers is still on too. I was there for the originals still... :)

The original.. "I Love Lucy " was pretty darn funny at times..

Jackie Gleason was an under rated genius.

He ad libbed most of that show.

Rumor has it that he never rehearsed and was usually half in the bag at showtime.

Well sheesh ...all I know is that "The Honeymooners" made me laugh.. great characters..

Lumpy, I recall reading that the three all-time champs were

I Love Lucy

Gleason's Honeymooners

and

Seinfeld

Three shows which feature a few folks sitting around in a New York City apartment.
