A Black slave disguising himself as a captain of a Confederate ship? Amazing disguise. It should be noted that the flag that flew off slave ships for the hundred years of American and South American slavery was never the well noted "stars and bars" of the short lived Confederacy. It was the Brit. Union Jack and later the American flag mostly in the New England based whaling and weaving industrial centers that relied on killing ocean mammals and enslaving other African mammals in the off season when cotton was king.
