Meet The Man Whose Obamacare Health Insurance Premium More Than Doubled

Democrats, why do you hate the middle class? This was nothing more than an attack on the middle class who can't afford this. Thankfully my parents retired right before this all kicked in and even though they got kicked off their last plan when they moved they got a better one that's cheaper....if they still made what they were making that wouldn't be the case.Hell soon its going to be cheaper to pay the penalty!

Let's start here. He's in Georgia:

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia: Initially proposed 15.1 percent, but with Aetna’s exit, and the assumption that many of Aetna’s current enrollees will switch to BCBSGA, the carrier said they were reconsidering their rate proposal, and the possibility of filing a new proposal. Their new rate filing had an average rate increase of 21.4 percent, which was approved by regulators.

21% is not 100%.
21% is a huge number though. and if you think its not, go ahead and agree to a 21% cut in pay for doing the exact same job you currently are. (assuming you work)

The ACA was never meant to be successful. It was purposely created to collapse our health care system so it would get so bad Socialist politicians could ride in like white knights on a horse and claim the only way to fix it is a complete government take over.

So you're equating 21% with 100+%? So if your company gives you a 2% raise you're happy they gave you a 10% raise?

The point, tard, is that pointing out it's "merely" 21% isn't exactly giving anyone a warm and fuzzy.

I'll ask again, where is the $2500 average savings each family was supposed to see?

where are the savings that were promised?
can we get past that first, then maybe a 21% increase will look ok. Evidently you were born filthy rich, or you get the subsidized health care and other people paying more is no problem for you.
Not everyone can afford to keep paying more for less. Sooner or later their money will run out.

When you take into account expanded Medicaid, subsidized premiums, making insurers cover people with existing conditions, just for starters,

there have been plenty of savings.

The ACA provides subsidies in case you've forgotten. The ACA limits the profit margin for insurers in the exchange.

Most Americans aren't even in the provisions of the ACA, btw.

They need to impoverish the middle class....take away all of their expendable income....that way they are easier to control ....increasing healthcare costs, taxes and energy costs will wipe out the expendable income of the middle class...and make them more dependent on democrat politicians.....just like the old days of democrat slavery in the south...

to who? Its costing the average middle class and up worker more. Costing me more does not equate to any savings.

they arent in the provisions, but the insurance companies are, and regardless of your actual involvement in the ACA, all premiums are going up right now as insurance companies try to recover the loss from the ACA. There is also a lower quality of care in hospitals, primarily in the emergency rooms. I was talking to a friend of ours that is a nurse at the hospital here, she said that they now can no longer ask for insurance information until after the patient has been seen and the tests ordered, this is because those without insurance were complaining that those with insurance were getting better care. (and isnt that how it should work?) So instead of the hospital assuming that everyone had insurance, they had to assume that nobody has insurance and the tests requested were reduced to minimum to reduce their exposure.
This is a reduction in care, once again, the working class suffers due to the poverty class.
I do know that at the hospital in question there used to be a bunch of nurses in the ER, now its down to 2. and unless you are critical, doctors could take a few hours before they get to you.
So its more than just the money, its also the quality of care that has suffered due to the ACA.

If anyone bothered to read the story,

the healthcare plan that this guy was being offered as an alternative was NOT a marketplace plan.

So fuck your propaganda lololol

People are also forgetting the full scope of the problem.
Not just their health care, but many things have shot up, like car insurance, because the companies have to shell out more for their employees health plans.
I don't understand why anyone would vote for higher taxes, higher health care, higher car insurance, higher cable-internet-phone bills, higher home owners insurances, higher property taxes, etc etc...
What will they have left to buy that sand box with, to hide their heads in it in shame?

Since all the above go up every year anyway, you make a good case for universal healthcare.
Trumps trickle down plan will trickle down upon us consumers. He does not pay taxes and he wants lower taxes for the rich, what does he want us to pay the elites, how about we get on our knees and beg them for scraps of food. They are the bloodsuckers of society.

No alot of these went up disturbingly sharper then normal. Just wait till you see your car and home insurer hikes for next year.

This says it all, Funny but frightening how oblivious supporters can be.

Why are all of these people lying about their premiums going up? We know it can't be true because Obama told us they would go down.

Obama said that everyone's premiums would go down.

If your premiums have gone up, does that make you racist? I mean, it confirms that Obama was lying....and if you call Obama a liar, you are racist.
