After the attacks on the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, polling company Comres found that 27 percent of British Muslims had “some sympathy” with the attack which left 12 people dead.

Progressives won't give up their support for Islamists. Even when it's clear that nearly all Sunnis support the Sunni revolution in the ME, it won't matter.

They would rather send US's ground troops to fight for Sunni countries like Turkey, than give up support of Islamists.

People often take sides, and they're stuck between the invading US side which is clearly wrong and has been since 2003, or another side which shares their religion.
