Here in Oregon we just passed two measures that increase taxes on corperations and individual with incomes above $125,000, is single, and $250,000, if married.

It was a choice between raising taxes, or cutting school funding. The voters made the correct and intelligent choice.

Now the ads against the measures stated that we would see an exodus of businesses if we raised the corperate tax. So now that we have raised that tax, there are only 45 states that have higher corperate taxes than we do. :lol:

You seriously believe that the only place that the State of Oregon could cut it's excessive spending was in the area of gubmint schools?

Oregon has about 11% unemployment and they voted to increase taxes? :lol:

Whenever budgets are tight, threaten cuts to schools and/or police and/or fire protection instead of combing through the state budget to find and cut out the real fat.
