A sour mood prevailed on Capitol Hill as Senate Democratic leaders accused their Republican counterparts of refusing to talk to them after Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell said he wanted to negotiate directly with the White House.

The CBO said nothing of the sort.

America will blame the Tea Party and destroy it next year.

The GOP regulars, like myself, have gone to work in our home towns, counties, and areas in destroying Tea Party influence. We will work on it until it is only a foul memory.
