MIAMI - Sen. John McCain won Florida's Republican primary on Tuesday, apparently driving Rudy Giuliani from the race and taking a critical victory over Mitt Romney in the battle for momentum before the race for the GOP presidential nomination turns to Super Tuesday.

Giuliani will end his campaign and endorse McCain on Wednesday at the Reagan library in Simi Valley, Calif., a senior member of his campaign told NBC News late Tuesday.

Who'd a thunk it? A few months ago lots of RINO's had Guiliani as a shoe-in. Of course, they tried to pass him off as conservative too.:cuckoo:

McPain did not get the majority of the conservative vote but he did get the latino vote. The race is not over yet. However, if he does wind up winning the nomination it looks like he might take on Huckabee as his Vice if Huckabee remains in the race to take away votes from Romney. That'd sure get the libs all hot and bothered.

Don't you need to polish that tinfoil helmet?

what you dont think the gook hating socilist is going to endorse goulyannie ?
or you dont think he hates gooks ? or he is not a lefty what is it you take issue with ?

I hate the gooks. I will hate them as long as I live.

and now goulyannie will bow out and endorse the gook hating socialist little troll

I dislike McCain and will only vote for him if he runs against Obama or Edwards. However the claim that he hates Gooks is hilarious.

He has taken steps to even reconcile his deserved dislike of North Vietnamese, after all they tortured him for what? 7 years? You are aware he can not even lift his arms above his shoulders with out help?

Your a retard, so go ahead. As for being beaten by a black man and equating that to 7 YEARS of systematic , planned TORTURE, day in and day out, you would not have much sympathy.

not to minimize the guantanamo bay type interrogations he suffered but it was not 7 yrs day in day out ..but then lets not go down go down that slippery slope of how much torture... is to much torture...or the false confessions it can illicit..lets just say its wrong...but for a man seeking the presidency..no matter what he may have suffered in the past a greater insight and spirit is required than hating gooks or burka jokes

The latino vote in FL -- Cubans -- IS conservative and has been since the 80s.

Well, aren't all GOPers "conservative"? lol. My point being that the latino conservatives went for McCain whereas the "core" or self-described conservatives went for Romney: 37% to 27%. Of the Cuban latinos, 50% went for McCain and only 10% to Romney.

Obviously the latinos, along with moderates and senior citizens put McCain over the top.

In a way good news.

"McCain's victory in Florida on Tuesday is a measure of the terrible shape the Republican Party now finds itself in. They now have a front-runner that no faction in the party really likes. He's old, short, bald, with a history of serious skin cancer and a record of psychological instability. He is [in] favor of a war deeply disliked by about 70 per cent of all Americans and has publicly proclaimed that the U.S. may well be in Iraq for a hundred years. With the country is poised on the lip of recession he calls for budget cuts. In Michigan he told distraught auto workers, --many of them "Reagan Democrats", that their jobs were never coming back. In Florida he said he didn't know much about economics but that Social Security would have to be fixed --i.e. privatized. Over half the people voting in Florida's Republican primary were over 60 and the Arizona senator's blithe endorsement of privatization would have scarcely been encouraging as they read the slumping bottom lines on their private 401K retirement accounts."
