Sen. John McCain :eusa_liar: has released a tough-talking television ad that blames illegal immigrants for "home invasions [and] murders" and calls for the completion of the "danged fence" along the U.S.-Mexico border, reversing years of opposition to such a barrier.

Facing the most difficult primary challenge he has seen in years, the ad is the most recent in a series of measures McCain, R-Ariz., has taken which play to the far right of his party, including endorsing a controversial new law that allows police to stop people they suspect are illegal immigrants and demand identification.

Walking along the incomplete fence with Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, McCain says: "drug and human smuggling, home invasions, murder." To, which Babeu responds, "We're outmanned. Of all the illegals in America, more than half come through Arizona."

Right, no americans can possibly commit crimes now, can they? Get real McCain.

John is now on the Right side of the illegal immigration issue. All he need to do now is push for the military to guard the border.

We see the reason for the change...McCain is facing a stiff challange...

From the Op's Article: "Facing the most difficult primary challenge he has seen in years, the ad is the most recent in a series of measures McCain, R-Ariz., has taken which play to the far right of his party, including endorsing a controversial new law that allows police to stop people they suspect are illegal immigrants and demand identification. "

So back in '05/06...and during his failed attempt for POTUS in '08?

Where was he?

And the large emboldened part? Is totally FALSE. ABC got it wrong. [Surprise there...eh]? That isn't what the LAW is about or what it allows Law Enforcement to do.

He has grown in office.
Yeah....to full-blown TEABAGGER!!!

"The three-week old Wallow Fire in northern Arizona, which has burned over 500,000 acres, is the largest wildfire in the state’s history. Over the weekend, Sens. John McCain (R-AZ) and Jon Kyl (R-AZ) went back to their home state to tour the damage and give a press conference. At the conference, McCain blamed illegal immigrants for setting the wildfires.

When he was asked which fires were started by immigrants, McCain couldn’t given an answer."
