McCain: 'Enhanced Interrogation' Did Not Lead to bin Laden's Killing

McCain is a conservative?

Who are the conservatives as far as you are concerned, Leweman?

It is a little confusing, so let me help you out. McCain is a Rino, Democrats are now Socialists. Obama is a Marxist. W. started the bail-outs and lost his conservative status. Republicans have moved to the left. And true Conservatives in DC are few and far between.

If you need a couple of names you could start with Michele Bachmann and Ron Paul.

ron Paul is pro waterboarding? I think not.

Thanks for clearly stating your POV.

So IKE was a RINO, too, I suppose, as far as you're concerned?

And Nixon, too, right? No I guess he'd be a total liberal based on your scale of conservatism.

All failed conservatives are RINO's and such.

Ohh wait all conservatives have failed so.....

"Ron Paul believes waterboarding is torture, and he is opposed to all forms of torture," spokesman Jesse Benton said.

RP is a bit of an unrealistic idealist to me in his views but he is not a mean person.

Who gives a rip the ass is dead, and if you think Obamma wouldn't water board some one if presented with the same situation your an idiot. he might not admit it but he would as sure as the sky is blue.

And you want to use THAT as an excuse to waterboard?
Bin Laden was an barbaric animal, so the US should also be a barbaric animal and replicate something bin Laden probably would have done?
That attitude is a win for al Qaeda.
Dumb fuck, these islamic beasts didnt waterboard. They cut off heads of live people.

I would show NO MERCY to the muslim savage satanic beasts from hell.

Go back and read the exchange between chickenwing and myself, included on the top of this post, also next time you post use reading comprehension instead of a knee-jerk-reaction.

The man was tortured for 6 years in a Hanoi prison. Not surprising he's sort of against it.

if you were tortured you would tell them what they wanted , does that mean its true or just to get them to stop ?

Well, if I lied to 'em I suspect the torture would continue and probably get worse. That's what we did, we asked 'em questions that we already knew the answer, so we knew when they stopped lying. After that, it's all downhill.

It looks like conservatives aren't even in agreement with each other when it comes to taking credit for anything that has to do with how the information was obtained which eventually led to discovering bin Laden's whereabouts.
Actually, I thought it looked like true conservatives pushed McCain's ass from the boat when he decided to stop campaigning to go vote for TARP.

Maybe that was just me

The only way that man is a "Maverick" is he wears a suit and grips his stick.

he'd never stand a chance with Kelly McGillis, either

It's a funny thing about people who call themselves TRUE conservatives. They seem SO willing to embrace failure and disaster in the pursuit of embracing an ideological concept rather than accepting a working solution which could actually avert disaster.

For example, remember a few years ago when the US bailed out Mexico? Conservatives hated it and were against it. The US actually made a handsome interest return on the deal. But what would have happened to the border if the Mexican economy collapsed?

The same is true of GM, and Chrysler. Conservatives wanted GM and Chrysler to fail (which would have resulted in the loss of millions of jobs). But today, they're profitable again, and they're even rehiring many of the workers they previously let go.

And TARP? Conservatives seemed to want the economy to tank even worse than it did, just to satisty an ideological purity test.

Ideologues shouldn't get their hands on the reigns of gov't. It would be a disaster.

I like the protesters who demonstrate water boarding in the streets. LOL
Now how about they put some bamboo shoots under their finger nails? Maybe break some bones? Maybe electrocute their selves? Gee, I wonder why they never do those things?
We have water boarded 3 terrorists. We have water boarded 1000s of our own military.

Six CIA 1st top officials including Obama's own Leon Panetta have said water boarding was succussful in the death of UBL.

McRino is an idiot
