McBush...Can we afford four more years?

John McCain is certainly Herbert Hoover though.

Obama is in some ways like FDR with their policies, etc.

I'd you're wrong on the first count, and comparing Obama to FDR isn't going to sell any tickets to the ball around here. FDR was a socialist. That's all anyone needs to know.

I took this on here
http://www.usmessageboard.com/784349-post40.html

You ignored it... so I'll repost it now:

1. Rising unemployment cause illegals are going home
2. Forclosures cause too many people were given home loans when they had no business getting a home to begin with.
3. See #2 as to why the "big three" are failing
4. The war in Iraq is not a waste
5. See #4 - had/have a war to pay for

If anyone is buying this guys shit, hit me up and i'll explain why he's insane. explaining it to him is a waste of time. I will however help if someone thinks he makes even a slightest bit of sense.

Do you have anything intelligent to contribute to this thread? If not, you might want to consider that it is better to not say anything and let people wonder if you are a fool than to open your mouth and prove you are one.

Only around 40% of the time. Even the most hardcore Liberal is going to agree with Dubya on certain issues that help all Americans, etc.

like fisa? He said he'd filibuster it. Instead, he voted for it. And what about "free trade" agreements? Ohioans sure are stubborn about clinging to anti-trade. I am not sure how Obama voted on the CAFTA proposal, but I know he is in favor of "free trade".

more to come.

The economic problems we are experiencing today are caused from greedy mortgage brokers, greedy homebuilders, & to be blunt, stupid people who bought homes they could not afford in the first place.

Throw on this economic fire-- $4.00 per gallon gasoline, & yes we have economic problems.

The poster of this thread seems to think that the "messiah", Barack Obama will be able to do a fix all? Yet, does not list exactly what Obama's proposals are in order to obtain order in our financial markets or for that matter our energy markets either. Obama does a lot of bashing of the current administration while stating his infamous--there is no difference between McCain & Bush. These exact words are repeated by unknowing supporters of Obama continually.

It's the continual left-wing campaign rhetoric- We do not want a 3rd term for President Bush--inferring that John McCain is like President Bush--which of course, is 100% wrong.

As an example: Barack Obama voted for President Bush's energy policy which gave large tax breaks & subsidies to BIG OIL. John McCain voted against it.

Barack Obama & Joe Biden voted for the bridge to no-where, while Sarah Palin said thanks, but no thanks.

Ask yourselves liberals: If John McCain were just like President Bush, why did democrat nominee, John Kerry seek out John McCain to be his running mate in 2004?

Why did Hillary Clinton state that John McCain would make a great President?
Why did Joe Biden state that John McCain would make a great President?

Because John McCain does not go with the flow of his party. He often goes against it. He hammers away at pork barrel spending, & he really does not give tax breaks or subsidies to people or industries that do not need them. His VOTING record proves that.

McCain has worked on several bills with Hillary Clinton & Joe Biden--he has a history of working across party lines.

BARACK OBAMA--has absolutely no history of voting against his party, or that of working across party lines. But, he can give one heck of a speech off of a teleprompter, "trilling the masses".

So NO--McCain is not at all like President Bush! "That why they call him the "Maverick".

They ain't my buddies. What do you think they are going to do---steal the king's treasure and hit the high seas ?

Duck .... you are smarter than this. Much smarter.

I am not saying that Obama has all of the answers on the economy (because he doesn't), but .... as with a lot of other issues that keep Bush and McCain connected with an umbilical cord .... the economy is a BIG one. Like it or not. :doubt:

There have been events within the last week or so that has given me big doubt's about Obama again. But one thing for sure .... there is no way in hell that I will be voting for McCain and Palin. Just ain't gonna happen. :eusa_hand:

Oreo .... you are just nutz! Plain and simple. I didn't know they had Oreo's with nuts out yet, but now I know. Oh, well!

The reason McCain is called "Maverick" is because he was a Navy Pilot ... like Tom Crusie was in Top Gun .... you know in the .... m-o-v-i-e? That is the ONLY reason he is called that. Hell, I bet he doesn't even know the lyrics of "Goodness Gracious Great Balls O Fire!" :doubt:

:cuckoo: You are just goofy :cuckoo:

I wouldn't go that far. Bush doesn't pass bills that help all americans.

Obama had to sign troop funding bills or be labled unpatriotic. not supporting the troops. and in bush bills, 75 percent goes to haloburton and 25 to the troops.

The one I didn't like was the fisa/ give the phone companies immunity. But Obama made a decision not to pick that fight. I trust he will fix fisa once in office.

But I love Obama. I was a Hillary supporter but now really like what I hear from Obama.

Mccain has 1 in 3 chances of making it to 80 with melanoma. Palin is crazy. She was the pick of the far right wing of the gop. Because of her, Mccain has the evangelical vote. the anti gay, anti stemcell, anti choice, they want tax dollars to go thru their churches and not to social services. privatize the profits. same for war. haloburton makes all the money, we pay. The gop manipulated government for 6 yrs. mccain will obstruct progress and justice.

obama biden 08!

Obama voted against CAFTA. Obama wasn't in the senate when NAFTA was voted on.

McCain voted for NAFTA and for CAFTA.

Obama wants to amend NAFTA. McCain pretty likes NAFTA the way it is.

There is not one single policy that Obama has not changed since he started running during the primary season. Either some of you are so tied up in campaign rhetoric that you don't notice it, but it is in everyone's faces.

At first me too--I even donated $200.00 to the Obama campaign. When Pastor Wright jumped out of Obama's closet, I actually started paying attention to exactly what he was saying, how often he changed his policy--"which is a a list as long as my arm".

I'm sorry, I cannot trust candidates who do that. I will be voting for McCain/Palin, because I know McCain is honest & does what he says. He does not change policy to suit public opinon polls. His stance on the surge in Iraq proves that.

I knew he wasnt in Senate when NAFTA was passed, but he has publicly said he supports free trade agreements. This cost him big in Ohio against Hillary, and could cost him big again in the general, especially when you consider his speech in San Francisco about how Americans "cling" to anti-trade. I love it when democrats say republicans sent jobs overseas when Clinton signed NAFTA and Obama supports it or some "amended" form of it. As if some amendment will bring the auto workers' jobs back to Michigan.

I really don't know how Obama is going to regain the United States world wide respect by breaking "existing" NAFTA agreements with Canada & Mexico--lol!

First I want to say that Mr Oreo is insane. Obama handled everything they threw at him. Rezko is a molehill compared to the mountain of special interest mccain is working with right now. what Rove did was create some villians for obama so it nullifies all of mccains baggage. It works on dumb voters.

As for Cafta. It was hillarys camp that told canada to ignore her anti cafta talk, and then they leaked that obama did that. it was one of many reasons I turned on hillary.

anyways, lehman brothers is another huge blow. some people will never get it. but gopanomics has screwed all of us, and if america votes for mccain, we deserve whatever happens. This is even affecting rich people. They deregulated so much and then made bad decisions. Now they want to say mccain is the agent of change?

"Breaking"?

How old are you?

If you're this dumb, you shouldn't be allowed to vote. Treaties can and do get amended or renegotiated all the time. Your old man thinks NAFTA is great. Obama wants to negotiate to amend it.

Do you think NAFTA is awesome just as it is, i.e., the McCain position?

You are right about this! As I see it we are all stewed, screwed, and tattooed, and Bush has done it. And McCain ain't gonna fix it! :doubt:

:banghead: I keep telling you to pay attention and read who is to blame but do you read ? noooooooooooooooooooo :banghead:
