Any Canadian members tell us about this? Seems like he could be a Trump of Canada....the "conservative" party wasn't doing as it should so he left and is starting something new.

We will see how it goes. He has a libertarian streak in him, which will draw alot of Conservatives and a few informed Liberals who are longing for classical liberalism. Canada is notoriously poorly informed, especially on the beauty of individual liberty and ambition instead of the Nanny State which so many are reliant on.

His position on immigration is not coming from a place of great education. He should be willing to welcome immigrants from all places as long as they are high performer and love capitalism. Instead, he went down the road of "we have too much diversity". As much as I understand his point to some degree, I don't accept it, this message must be refined or outright thrown out of his platform as far as I am concerned. We don't have the same massive border problem the U.S has, or the huge illegal immigration numbers to warrant outrage on this front.

He may be an interesting candidate, I'm rooting for if not him, a better libertarian candidate to rise and turn this nation into a nation of Rights, Capitalism and achievement. We have to stop being afraid of acknowledging that some, if not many American concepts are righteous, and our former masters across the pond who are holding on by their finger nails have not been great for our progress.

Third party is more likely not work, but there are exceptions to the rule. The Libs stay together, The independents vote for the perswon, the conservatives vote as a group.and they can be a mixed group. So time will tell.

The conservative party of Canada is just another liberal party of Canada. There is never anything in their platforms that appears to be conservative at all.They just keep around all the liberal/socialist programs and agendas that liberals keep dumping on Canadians since old man Trudeau came to power in 1980. The conservatives gave Canadians the dreaded GST. How is that wonderful gift to Canadians from a conservative party who is supposed to be believe in more freedom, less taxes and less government? Bernier appears to be another Trump.One can only hope he is.

Bernier is right when he said that Canada is too diverse. Diversity is not our strength but our weakness. A country must have one language,one heritage, one tradition and one culture in order to survive. A country cannot survive with dozens of different languages, cultures, religions, traditions and heritages in order to continue on. Eventually it will lead to chaos and mayhem as all the different cultures will end up arguing and fighting among one another for turf. Diversity or multiculturalism is a program and agenda for destroying and committing genocide of the original host people those being of British and European stock. Diversity and multiculturalism will be the end of a white majority Canada if it is allowed to continue on.

Are you with the program? There has been and there still is going on hundreds of illegal criminal illegals crossing into Canada every day from America. Canadians are not being informed by the controlled fake leftist liberal media nor the RCMP because they have been ordered by our prime mistake of Canada to not report about how many illegals are crossing into Canada every day anymore. A big massive cover up going on here. Diversity is a pile of propaganda bull chit.
