Mat and Savannah Shaw (dad daughter duet team)

This is a slightly offbeat post because I have a strange musical taste. I’m drawn to strong melody and harmonies interwoven. My taste in vocals is all over the map. I also like clever lyrics that actually say something which is why, I guess, I also enjoy some country music.

But Mat and Savannah Shaw is a father/daughter duet singing team I stumbled upon recently. Her voice is clearly trained and crystalline. He sounds a bit like one of the Irish tenors.

Worth a listen if this is your kind of music. This time is from the Broadway musical “Wicked.” It’s called “For Good.”

I have a different version I also like. I’ll share that one later.
