I will keep my shotgun, 20/20. You should too, Guns that can fire a dozen rounds in a second and can kill at 500+ feet away are military murder machines; not needed in ordinary citizens hands.
And frankly for those of you who like firing off dozens of rounds at targets and get bent out of shape at my opinion; your hobby is kinda wierd.

But ... it's pretty obvious the killer did shoot hundreds of rounds in around ten minutes. There's no official number out right now, but apparently he fired at least 200 rounds through his hotel room door (most likely the walls as well) in a tiny fraction of that time. I imagine he fired well over a thousand rounds, and he was an old man. And he was using a bump stock. So I'm not sure where you are coming from with this.

Dumb shit the recoil on these modern rapid fire weapons is nothing like an old fashioned shoulder holstered 12 gauge. It's not like blast after blast of a 12 gauge into your shoulder. He probably had mounts for some of the guns and recoil pads.

False. He was using "bump stocks" to produce rapid fire. Dampening of any sort would thwart that.
