Why not? Look how much they made off of Bible fables. The public has always had a thirst for magic and the occult. Spiderman 1,2,3, The Greatest Story Ever Told, Iron Man, The Ten Commandments, Date With and Angel, Hercules, Fantastic Four, Samson, X-Men. Nothing like "beings" with "powers". I love all of them.
