a sad story out of last year's successful November operation in Fallujah, just caught this on FOX.. the ironies of life can be so cruel at times... i just wish this family peace and hope the young boy lives up to be a good young man one day.

Indeed... how more tragic his noble sacrifice will be hijacked by the Howard Deans, Michael Moores and Noam Chomskys of the world for their own twisted purposes.

Yep, and in my opinion the only reason the media even occassionally mentions an individuals death is so they can use such a tragedy to bash the current administration....

That is quite true in most cases. And they'll abuse the soldier's family in a heartbeat to get their agenda across... no conscience, no shame.

He believed in something more than "self" ... something their ilk will NEVER understand.

I saw this as well on FOX.

    It breaks your heart.

It is sad that the son will grow up without the father, but it is good that the father will live on through the son.

It is sad that there are people who would use this tragic story to further an agenda opposite of what Lance Corporal Kielion fought and died for, but it is important to remember that the most important people in this tragedy, his family and friends, know the truth.

It is sad that were some people to get their way (and they yet may) the sacrifice Lance Corporal Kielion made will not be remembered by most for the noble act that it was many years from now, but it is important to hope that at least his son will grow up to know that his father was a hero.
