High Gravity, When Conservatives I like keep silent about the blatant racism in their ranks, I lose respect for conservatism.

I remember the days when conscientious Conservatives would immediately denounce racist elements within their ranks. But back then it was mostly Liberals in the GOP ranks, joined by the conscientious Conservatives, who would denounced racism.

The GOP has killed off most conscientious conservatism within it's ranks, and the GOP hasn't had a liberal wing since the days of Reagan. Under Reagan's leadership, the GOP chased most every single liberal Republican out of the new Reagan inspired, GOP -- and Reagan helped silence conscientious Republicans. Those conscientious Republicans that were left in the GOP went silent, or finally went away.
