Sodafid-
Seems like a language gap exists between us.You have WWII being equal to the Xolocaust. It is not unless you are a Jew. I am not. Therefore I consider the Xolocaust as part of WWII. The Xolocaust never occurred in Finland and England as you have claimed.

Given that the Holocaust also reached into places like Holland, France, the Ukraine, Romania, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech and even England - it is impossible to teach WWII without teaching the Holocaust. It's a single event.

I recall as a boy of 12 in 1947 breaking into my brothers footlocker. I discover some pornographic photos and a box with photos of WW II. The leading sheet was titled "Royal Order of the Purple Shaft" membership. This photo package was given to the GI's that served in the war.

I recall seeing bulldozers shoving hundreds of bodies into shallow graves for burial. I thought that these pictures were obscene then and I think they are obscene now!

Perhaps we should record these events in the manner of Moses. The Earth opened up and swallowed them. After all,we are all part of the Earth!

You did not care to sink your teeth in to this incoherent statement.
I'll accept a single event characterization if you include WW I as Part of WWII. All belligerents were not present at the signing of the peace treaty. The Zionists were not included in the peace treaty and so were still at war.

We in Illinois are luckier than others.:cuckoo: We have Xolocdaust studies mandated by our state.:eusa_whistle:

Abstract
The state of Illinois was the first state to mandate the teaching of the Holocaust in 1990. This article reports the results of a study of Holocaust education practices at the high school level. At present, it represents the largest study of Holocaust education practices ever conducted in the United States.

The complete article can be found at:
The State of Holocaust Education in Illinois - by Jeffrey Ellison & John Pisapia

Teaching of history offends you? Move to another planet

Gee, some how mandatory and teaching are the same in PP's world. The Greek word Xolocaust meant a burned offering and not "The mass murder of Jews under the German Nazi regime from 1941 until 1945"

The word "Xolocaust" was seized by the Zionists to propagate a guilt and foment support for the Zionist state AFTER their heroic victory in 1967. You see....Finklestein got it right!

Genocide was a word once used to describe this event. It is an event along with a long list of other events that fit this category.:eusa_shhh:

The word was not "siezed" it was anglicized from the Hebrew word Shoah which was in use as a description for the result of the programs long before 1968. Shoah means, essentially, catastrophe and destruction. That it has become synonymous with the Nazi pograms is more a result of laziness than some mystical theft of a word.

Aside from that, the etymology of a word does not always reflect modern meaning even if the connotation of that modern usage reflects the original meaning.

WHOSE ''HOLOCAUST'' IS HERE BEING DISCUSSED? We had ''Holocaust Studies'' long before World War One. As kids we were forced to Sunday School to make good children out of us. There we learned about the Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing of the Jews whose tribal God Jehovah had promised them Milk And Honey provided they butcher off all the Canaanites, Philistines, Amalekites, and what have you. If we objected to these massacres we were duly punished. It was compulsory. So really, nothing has changed. In reading Numbers 31 of the Bible we learn of the conquering Jehovah Jewish Army gang raping 32,000 virgins, mostly babies. This was a good act we were told, and we had to shut our mouth. So what's the big deal of compulsory learning about massacres be that of the American Indians, Asian and Oriental Indians, Africans, some who ended up slaves at Haiti, Jewish Holocausts against Palestinians, and so much more? The only Holocaust forbidden so far to be learned is the Holocaust against the Palestinians, as the massacres of Gaza newly showed. And of course, still to this day, were we to enter a Sunday School, we all be preached the same old song: The Conquest of Canaan, the longest ''Holocaust'' ever, was good, and thanks to it we are ready for Salvation and on our way to heaven. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. How many ''Holocausts'' are waiting for us in Heaven once we get there?
