Convicted felon Paul Manafort's daughter Jessica is wasting no time distancing herself from the family by filing legal documents to change her name.
On August 31, Jessica Anne Manafort filed a petition for individual adult change on name in Manhattan Supreme Court.
She explains she would like her new name to be Jessica Anne Bond. 36-year-old Jessica says she was born in Washington D.C. and lives in NY, and claims she has never been convicted of a crime or declared bankruptcy or been adjudicated a bankruptcy.
'There are no judgments or liens against me I am not a party to any actions or proceedings currently pending.

'I have a minor child but I do not have obligations to pay child support.'
She says she has never requested a name change in the past. Jessica states the reason for her name change is 'To adopt my mother's maiden name which more closely suits my profession.'
Jessica, an independent filmmaker, used the name Bond when she released the film Rosy in July.
The home she lists as her past residence is the New York apartment that her father Paul Manafort used as collateral to secure his $10 million bail while he was then awaiting trial.
The judge has yet to sign off on Jessica's petition.
She told the New York Post that she wants to make the move to 'separate my work from a public perception that has nothing to do with the person that I am.'
Her father was convicted of eight out of eighteen charges of tax and bank fraud in connection with Robert Mueller's Russia probe.
The independent filmmaker wants to change her name to Bond as it 'closely suits my profession'. She also wants to separate her work from 'public perception'
