One of my attorney freinds just made a valid point. Mueller is working with democrats and this could be an attempt to continue twisting Manafort into a pretzel in an effort to make him compose a lie in order to get released from his troubles...

Anything Manafort will say will be met with high suspicion of it being wholly contrived, dirty, and underhanded lies created for political gains... And I fully expect Mueller to come up with something, in the next week, right in time for midterms, just like every other win Trump gets.. Perfectly timed for maximum political damage..
