I think this is, more than anything else, deflection away from the reports of rapes actually having happened at OWS or other of their protests. If someone who has been known to attend a TP event turns out to have also, somewhere other than at a TP event, committed a rape its not the same.

This is a too obvious attempt to show moral relativity between the two that doesn't exist. It won't wash because the crimes of OWS people specifically happened there at the protest, and not somewhere else in their private lives.
