A northern Indiana man who allegedly threatened to "kill as many people as he could" at an elementary school near his home was arrested by officers who later found 47 guns and ammunition hidden throughout his home.

How many more like him are sitting at home, watching the news coverage and caressing, er, uh, I mean, cleaning their guns ... ?

Our country is failing....failing it's people. A person with a mental issue could do well for
a long time. But take away their means of survival......
People are desperate..they're losing their minds.
They're seeing the notoriety that these others are getting.....
They don't care if they have to die to get that recognition! Their names will be out there!

The media need to ban ever mentioning a serial killers name. If they new they wouldn't
be recognized when they did something like this, "maybe" it would end. Maybe they would
just opt to off themselves!

Nope, consider it constructive advice. I suggest you start with marbles - oh, damn, you've lost years. Well, peanuts will do and they have a lot in common with your brain.

Anyway, take two peanuts and place them in front of you, about three inches apart. Then, imagine a string running from one peanut to the other. The string is called a segment (of a line)

Now the hard part, imagine that the string from one peanut to the other actually extends through each peanut and goes on forever. That will be a bit abstract for you but it is an important concept, once you get it - and I understand that may take weeks - you will have experienced thought. Good luck.

No, that's not what we need but it reminds me of a poll I read about some time ago. It seems that more than 70% of the Repubs who were asked said that we need to have some degree of control on our journalists, our news organizations, control on what they say and/or publish.

I don't find anything funny about the school shootings. But one way you know healing is taking place is when comedy can get a laugh out of it. For example, Achmed the Dead Terrorist and his, I kill you!" line is generally considered funny now.

Hopefully the dark time passes, we learn something that helps in the future and laughter returns.
