The 54-year-old woman had no idea that when she asked David Sanders if she could borrow his cell phone in April it would lead to a harrowing nightmare, being raped and beaten and then having her toe eaten by Sanders' dog.
Once inside the apartment, Sanders told the woman he was robbing her. He then turned out his lights, forced her to undress and beat her. He also ordered his brown pit bull to attack her.
As the dog bit her arms, legs and face, Sanders beat her with a metal rail and his fists.
