SAN DIEGO (AP) — A man who fired a starter pistol as he fled border inspectors was wounded after two officers shot at him at the nation's busiest border crossing Thursday.

The afternoon shooting prompted U.S. Customs and Border Protection to temporarily suspend pedestrian travel into the United States from Mexico at the San Ysidro Port of Entry, U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokeswoman Angelica De Cima said.

What? They didn't shoot to kill??? Or did they not want to hurt Mexico's feelings????Fools. I'm sure the man who shot at them intended to kill them - just a bad shot.

Only a fool would shot a starter pistol at armed border patrol. We have enough legal fools to allow in illegal fool into the country. Take all the illegals and ship them out of the country and take their picture when they leave and tell them if they come back and we catch them they will be executed on the spot. Tell the welfare people to take the jobs the illegals were doing or starve, either way we win.
