A man arrested near the White House after he falsely told Secret Service agents he had a bomb in his vehicle also said, “this is a test,” stoking concerns after several other security incidents in recent weeks.

Sean Patrick Keoughan of Roanoke, Virginia was arrested after he pulled up to a security checkpoint at 15th Street and East Street NW near the White House at 11pm on Saturday night in a stolen 2017 Chevrolet Impala.

According to police, Keoughan told Secret Service, “There’s a bomb in the trunk,” while holding an object in his hand. As he was being arrested, Keoughan added, “This is a test.”

Numerous security incidents in recent weeks stoke fears of Trump assassination plot

Wasn't it so nice of the nut job to give a warning that it was just a test.

On the news last night, people were saying this was a third "incident" that had them worried about the SS doing it's job properly in guarding the WH grounds. They have no control over people jumping the bike rack on Pennsylvania Avenue (they stopped him before he got on the fence, even) and no control over people driving up to a security checkpoint; that's what the checkpoint is for.
I think the agent who left her laptop with Trump Tower blueprints on it in the car is more worrisome. But hey.

The agent that left the laptop was doing what he was supposed to be doing.

The secret service is worthless. The agents treat the agency like party central.
