I graduated from college near the same time as Obama and I knew lots of foreign students at my college. There is absolutely no reason why anyone who was a resident of the United States would choose to register as a foreign student in the United States- every foreign student I knew paid more to go to college, and had to go through more hurdles to go to college in the U.S. than I did.

So not only is there absolutely no evidence that President Obama ever registered for college as a foreign student- it makes absolutely no sense that he would have.

I didn't say Obama did it, I was just pointing out that you can't register as a foreign exchange student unless you are already a student of a foreign university, which as a US citizen you could be.

And there would a reason to do this, because your home university in the non-US country might pay your tuition. Although you can't register yourself as a foreign exchange student, your home university would do it.

An exchange program means two universities have an arrangement to allow their students to attend the other university for credits. You can't be an exchange student at your own university.
