Making Sense of the Zimmerman Verdict

The fact: Trayvon Martin was on his way to his father's firend's house. He was unarmed. He didn't know Zimmerman.

The fact. Zimmerman carried a gun. He devoted for a task force to catch and arrest burglars. He actively tracked Trayvon. He dialed 911, said Trayvon was suspicious.

Who was the man provoked the case? Who had the motive to kill?

The rest story mostly depends on Zimmerman's description. It turns a provocateur into a victim. That's why it's a bad case to encourage people to kill in argument. Because the dead could never have a voice. The killer takes too much advantage.

The dead don't have a voice that's why nobody is ever convicted of murder

You can't make this stuff up folk. They actually believe this crap.

One born every second.

If Mr. Martin was on his way home why was he walking next to homes looking into them instead of on the sidewalk?

Zimmerman identified Martin as suspicious before he knew he was a black male - while he was in his car. He was on his way to a local store when he saw Martin apparently casing homes for burglary. Zimmerman lost track of Martin and was on his way back to his car when Martin approached him and attacked.

Who was the aggressor? Martin.

I carry a gun every place I go too. I have never shot anyone and the gun has never done anything wrong. Guns are good. They save 4110 to 8219 people everyday according to the Obama ordered CDC report on gun violence. Zimmerman broke no laws. Martin committed a felony attack on Zimmerman and was shot in self defense.
The trial showed that and the jury agreed - unanimously!

The only sense that can be made from this is that Zimmerman protected himself against a violent attack according to all the evidence and testimony in this case.

How can anyone argue with those facts of evidence?

They aren’t arguing against the evidence. They are arguing with a lack of it entirely. Those that want to condemn Zimmerman do so not because the evidence points to that but rather because it serves their political ideology and/or preconceived notions that they have held all along. Some just do not want to admit that they were wrong in their first call.

media reports

Mr. Martin was on the way to his father’s girlfriend’s house, where he was staying as a guest.

This is common sense most people admitted. Your question is an odd one that rare people would ask.

Zimmerman identified Martin as suspicious before he knew he was a black male

Whatever you say to defend him but the fact (truth) was:

Washington Pos: May 28th: In July 2005, he was arrested for“resisting officer with violence.” (1) The neighborhood watch volunteer who wanted to be a cop got into a scuffle with cops who were questioning a friend for alleged underage drinking. The charges were reduced and then waived after he entered an alcohol education program. Then in August 2005, Zimmerman’s former fiance sought a restraining orderagainst him because of domestic violence. Zimmerman sought a restraining order against her in return. Both were granted. Meanwhile, over the course of eight years, Zimmerman made at least 46 calls to the Sanford (Fla.) Police Department reporting suspicious activity involving black males. (2)

We already covered this nonsense. Zimmerman made 46 calls to the Sanford Police Department reporting activity involving black people, white people and hispanic people.
Zimmerman may very well be a jerk but there is no evidence that he is a racially motivated murderer.

So your argument relies on the media and has no evidence to back it up?
Evidence admitted in the trial said a completely different story than yours.
The police tape showed that Zimmerman had no idea that Martin was black when he made his call to the non-emergency police number. He had to wait until Martin approached his car to tell the operator what race he was.
According to the evidence Martin was at one point at his fathers home and then he showed up back near Zimmerman's car where the attack took place.
Zimmerman saw Martin looking into the homes as he was walking near them - not on the sidewalk - in the rain. That is suspicious behavior.

Zimmerman's past was brought up and presented as evidence. It was deemed by the jury as not important in this case. Martin was clearly the aggressor as he had no injuries except for the bruising to his knuckles from hitting Zimmerman. Zimmerman had multiple injuries from an attack that was a felony committed by Martin. Zimmerman fired his gun to stop the attack and save his life.
That is what the jury ruled based on the evidence in the trial.

The media reports were not evidence - they were opinion and outright lies - which is why Zimmerman is taking them to court for damages.
