This was the case with Harley Davidson who agreed last year not to sell any more illegal devices and ro buy back those they already sold. Harley-Davidson also had to pay a $12 million civil penalty and spend $3 million to mitigate air pollution through a project to replace conventional woodstoves with cleaner-burning stoves in local communities.
