    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_MrZojHUdQ]Make Way For Tomorrow [1937] Part 1/10 - YouTube[/ame]

    It's in 10 parts and it's on Youtube.

    It's during that glorious time before they had those socialist programs, "Medicare and Social Security" when the same conservative policies used by Republicans today were being used by the entire world.

    You see, this elderly couple who raised 5 children and obviously mismanaged all the money the had during the Great Depression lose their house and none of their children will take in both parents. Obviously lazy. The film is a laugh riot and considered an American Masterpiece. Republicans will point to this movie as the "Good Old Days" when people cared about responsibility and the government stayed out of people's lives. We see how everyone lived so much better and were more happy than the mess liberal policies have created under the first six years of the Bush administration.

    Enjoy. A glimpse of what Republican policies can do for our lives.

    Once again rdean, "You Lie!"

    The kids don't want to take Ma and Pa in and during the last part admit so: "We're selfish and rotten aren't we?"

    They are.

    See that's how it works. Your Mother and Father raise you then you take care of them when they get too old to take care of themselves. Your kids will do the same for you. Unless of course you're a Liberal and don't believe in having kids because you think Humans "Harm the Earth" or you want to live the alternate "Gay Lifestyle".

    Fascinating, can anyone imagine or think of a current movie similar in context? One of my favorite electives in college was a history of America through film course. In the past the moment mattered, today it is more like fantasy or wishful thinking matter. Only documentary contains morsels of reality. 60 Minutes covered families living in cars and cheap motels, where is the conscience of today hiding?
