I finished my bachelors and got my Master's and got a new job that pays a bit over twice what the old one did. During this same time my wife started and completed Nursing school and is now working as an RN on a critical care floor of a local hospital. While in school she was working at a PCT which pays for shit, now she is making close to twice what she was as a PCT, but not quite there yet.
It will also be going up a good bit more soon, she has applied to the VA to work at the local VA hospital, and based upon their rating system she will be adding about 15 grand more a year to her salary. She has already been selected and is just waiting on the start date.
