One of the reasons the tax cut for the rich hasn't sold well on the campaign trail is because it wasn't designed to do much for most Americans and, guess what? It didn't according to a poll released this week by Bankrate. The Hill writes:

Of those surveyed, 17 percent said they were worse off now than two years ago and 45 percent said their situation has not changed. Thirty-eight percent of respondents said their finances have improved.

Huh, so 38 percent think they're better off. Does that percentage sound familiar to anyone?

But more importantly, that means 62 percent of Americans feel their financial situation either hasn't changed or has actually gotten worse while the GOP ran the federal government.

Gee, if only Republicans had thought about anybody but the one percent while they were legislating, maybe they could have actually run on their tax cut. Instead they’ve spent the campaign running from it.

Why do people tie their financial well being to who is sitting in the fucking white house?

My situation is much better off, but it has nothing to do with Trump or the government.

Our family income more than tripled during the Obama years, but again it had nothing to do with Obama or the government.

Most Americans are not doing as well as you are. As the poll so clearly demonstrates.

But hey, it's all about you huh?

And since you became completely disjointed from the point of the article. It is Trump, Republicans, and right wing vomit media that told us all how tax cuts for the richest people and multinational corporations, would make everyone better off.

Looks like those people you speak of should have not believed that blatant lie, and cast their votes for people who will repeal it, so that their situations will become better.

You do know that 38% is over double 17%.

Back when all the Democrats behind closed doors, signed the unaffordable healthcare act, to give 11 million people insurance they didnt deserve, over 22 million people lost their insurance, and had to purchase the crap government healthcare. Sure seems to me that you fuckers love to screw over more people just to serve the lesser assholes who dont contribute shit.

It depends on how one manages their investments/portfolio, presidents notwithstanding.
Right now with my Dividend Reinvestments, while the market is down, I am buying a ton more stocks, than I could while the market was higher...When it goes back up, I will probably double my money..

There was no government healthcare.

The majority of America does not have a portfolio.
Then the majority of Americans are financial morons. Which makes the OP null and void.

I had a portfolio at age 5 with my allowance. If millennials want to buy dope and get tattoos instead of putting the money in savings then it’s all on them.

Why? Is it because the libtards of the elite doesn't want to share the profits with the rest of US? So they tell you to get a pension, which is an "Earned Income" and is taxed as such, while Warren Buffet and Jeff Bezos, live off their dividends which are only taxed at 5 to 11%? Gee really nice of them to tell you one thing , then completely do something else that benefits them more? It all goes back to the "Do as I say, not as I do"..

38% who said it did help, is a lot more than the 17%(liberal welfare queens) who it didnt. Maybe if you libfucks stopped smoking dope and got off your lazy ass, and find a job, you too could benefit from tax breaks. Never happen, for then many of those working would no longer be Liberals.

The wealthiest 0.01% of individuals are not the majority :206:

Neither are corporations :21:

If you are in that elite class then you're doing MUCH BETTER under Trump rule.

If not, then you got fvcked :abgg2q.jpg:

Right, and the polls also say that Trump has no path to victory.

Amazon and Berkshire Hathaway currently pay no dividend.

You can’t make the poor rich. It won’t happen. They will remain poor because they will continue to do the things that made them poor. If they don’t work and don’t pay taxes they are never going to get rich. Ever.
