What do American children learn?

It depends on the parents, just like in Russia. My children each had a subscription to an educational magazine, a library card and access to my textbooks.

It most certainly does depend on the parents. My children could read when they started kindergarten. We were not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination. But my children always had books. All 3 were at the top of their reading classes in elementary school. All 3 graduated with honors. My middle child made all 'A's except for a single 'B' his junior year of high school. He graduated high school with a GPA of 4.28. In his graduating class there were 23 students with a GPA of over 4.0.

Every time I go to the public library during the summer there are always a lot of children there. That is not the ideology of the country. That is the parents.

"In the USSR...."????

The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics has not existed since 1991. Someone from Russia would not make that mistake. You look like you are around 30 years old. The USSR has not existed since 1991 (a 30 year old would have been 4 years old).

I guess you are just another troll pretending to be from somewhere else.

I had written a post and did not post it. So when I quoted you again it put the first post at the top. I deleted the first and reposted it.

If you have trouble understanding what I have said, simply ask for clarification. It is much easier than attempting to insult and dismiss my posts. It only makes you look foolish, like the thread in which you insisted it was all about science, and I had to explain it was about education, not science.

I'll answer you when I'm in a mood and I want to quarrel with a stupid and unshaven American :04::04::04::04::04:

LMAO!! That is a weak excuse. Unshaven? I shave more than most men. But if you are referring to my beard, perhaps you should worry more about what I say than about my facial hair.

As for stupid.....at least I am aware the USSR has not existed for 26 years.

Learn what? We already KNOW that you're a moron who thinks that bullets rotate in a direction based on which hemisphere you live in. Talk about an idiot. You know very little, and that which you do know, is probably wrong. My daughter is far better educated at 11 and half years old than you are. She attends a private school, and in addition to her normal school work she learns from my wife and i as well.

As Winterborn stated, the children's education is determined by how much their parents care about it. If you have a parent who doesn't value education then it will be difficult (though not impossible) for the kid to succeed.

Here's a clue silly boy. if you come HERE, you are going to have people discuss the subject with you. if you are here merely to broadcast your profound ignorance I will save all of us the problem and just send you packing.

You choose.

Westwall, once again I am entertained by your posts and commend you for the accuracy as well.

Anyone can insult and call someone names. You avoid plain vulgarity and still put someone in their place is a step up in civility.
