It is calling attention to police brutality against black people. They are not saying that other lives do not matter because to most people they do. To some, the lives of these young black men killed was not even worthy of an investigation. Zimmerman told the police he killed Trayvon Martin & the police never even gave it a proper investigation - just another dead n******. But these black lives do matter.
