ASHLEY TODD: Ashley Todd's story proved to be a hoax -- chicagotribune.com

Ashley Todd, a McCain volunteer, made up a story of being robbed, pinned to the ground and having the letter "B'' scratched on her face in a politically inspired attack, police said Friday.

Ashley Todd, 20-year-old college student from College Station, Texas, admitted Friday that the story was false and was being charged with making a false report to police, said Maurita Bryant, the assistant chief of the police department's investigations division. Police doubted her story from the start, Bryant said.

Todd, who is white, told police she was attacked by a 6-foot-4 black man Wednesday night. She now can't explain why she invented the story, Bryant said.

The same Republican, rightwing blogger nuts are quiet suprisingly, considering that they made a big deal about the Duke University woman who claimed to be raped.

Yup, it's one for your team's column.

But as I said elsewhere, white race hoaxes are FAR outnumbered by black race hoaxes. There is no white Al Sharpton to rush in for this disturbed young woman. And for the very small number of white race hoaxes, there are THOUSANDS more very real black-on-white attacks like the Wichita Massacre and the Knoxville Horrow that get almost no attention.

White race hoaxes are far more numerous and serious than those committed by blacks because of the fact that people are more inclined to believe that a black man did something wrong. This is in large part caused by the media's demonisation of blacks.
