And of course NO Japanese-American was EVER convicted of espionage throughout the war. I'm not a democrat, it's the truth that I pointed out that you don't like. Is every republican person a conservative? It's you who are blinded by partisanship if you can't see that it was the Liberal republicans who fought to end the status quo of slavery and it was conservative democrats who fought to keep the status quo of slavery. It was the both Liberal republicans and democrats who fought to end the status quo of second class citizenship for Blacks and it was conservative democrats and republicans who fought to keep the status quo of second class citizenship for Blacks.

Southern conservative democrats were known as Dixiecrats to distinguish them from northern liberal Democrats with a capital D.

There was a horror of being a Republican because Lincoln was a Republican who destroyed the South.

George Wallace standing in the schoolhouse door refusing to let black students pass was a Dixiecrat. George Wallace renouncing his racist past and taking a bullet for his trouble was a Democrat.

Look up "Dixiecrat". It is a really real political category.
