If you look at the unaltered temperature record, you won't find any evidence of that "rapid" warming. What you will find is lack of warming for more than15 years with a possible slide toward cooling temperatures over most of the earth.

Let's call it Hell on Earth! The Earth isn't melting, but you want to rename a National Park from Glacier National Park to Hell on Earth! Sounds like something a FOOL would do.

Do you think those glaciers were always there? Do you think they were there during the holocene maximum? How far back do you think they melted during the roman warm period? How far back do you think they melted during the Medieval warm period? Do you ever THINK at all or do you go through life reacting and living in a panic when no panic is warranted?

For someone who claims to be educated, you are singluarly ignorant. Do just a bit of research on the melt back of the glaciers between 1917 - 1941. They were melting back by as much as 100 meters a year. Far more than the present melting. Stop waving your hands, grab yourself a paper bag, put it over your mouth and stop hyperventilating. The sky is not falling.....hell, it isn't even drooping.

By the way....hell on earth? Being a bit of a drama queen arent you? Do a bit of research on what life on earth was like before the onset of the ice age that we are in the process of exiting. Quite a bit warmer and life was good. If you took the time to actually learn something rather than spending all your time claiming to know something, perhaps you could live a normal life rather than the life of a terror striken old woman
