Los Angeles school named after Al Gore

Not only was this school built on a toxic site that was supposedly cleaned up, (the ground water underneath is still a toxic stew) it sits between an oil processing plant and a gas station.

Ya' just can't make this shit up!

Friggin' liberal stupidity at its finest!

A gas station?

I understand the toxic site, and oil well. That seems a little weird.
But a gas station? What is the big deal about that?

A barrier will stretch 45 feet down from ground level to limit future possible fuel leakage.

An oil well operates across the street, but officials said they've found no associated risks. Like many local campuses, this school also sits above an oil field, but no oil field-related methane has been detected.

Groundwater about 45 feet below the surface remains contaminated but also poses no risk, officials said.

Your Fox article also said Al Gore had no idea it would be named after him.

According to a report on one of our local news stations, the gas station has been cited 11 times for toxic spills, and leaking main tanks.

Seriously, ya' can't make this shit up!

Who cares?....The very facts about this school makes it quite clear that the lib's running the show are a bunch o' friggin idiots!:cuckoo:

And the very fact that the play yard is completely concrete, because grass won't grow on the site, makes it even more absurd.
