Looks like we got another one

They were spies, as some one who served in the military I am acquainted with the rules of war and spying in such a manner received punishment of this kind.

OK, so spies who killed no one get executed as Enemy Combatants, but Jihadists who killed 3,000 and tried to kill 60,000 that day have standing under the Constitution as citizens

Did I get that right?

No Jihadists that did that died in the planes they used to crash into the buildings, the ones who have been captured on foreign soil have not stood trial yet and have not been proven guilty of said charges.

You're confused. KSM masterminded the attack, why can FDR execute spies, but a Jihadists gets a day in court during wartime?

Your faulty analogy has already been disproved numerous times on this thread. Why do you continue to ressurect it? Are you that dense?

This isn't peer reviewed Global Warming Settled Science therefore, "Because I say so" or calling me stupid for asking is NOT a winning argument.

I noticed you didn't answer.

Puzzled

What thread are you responding to? "Peer review Global warming"???

Another non-answer. All you did was parrot the stupidity of other non-answers

I am CrusaderFrank's Shock and Bewilderment at how RW can't see to get up an answer.

what! his constitutional rights were violated, he has not had his day in court, so we don't know if he is guilty....he should have been brought to the US, read his rights, given a lawyer and then had a trial.....

what is obama afraid of? why does obama hate the constitution?

President Obama has conducted more drone attacks in ten months than Bush did over seven years.

Guess Bush was soft on getting to the "real" terrorists

obama just wants to perfect the technique before he uses it on your grandma's house.

Insurgents Hack U.S. Drones

WASHINGTON -- Militants in Iraq have used $26 off-the-shelf software to intercept live video feeds from U.S. Predator drones, potentially providing them with information they need to evade or monitor U.S. military operations.

Senior defense and intelligence officials said Iranian-backed insurgents intercepted the video feeds by taking advantage of an unprotected communications link in some of the remotely flown planes' systems. Shiite fighters in Iraq used software programs such as SkyGrabber -- available for as little as $25.95 on the Internet -- to regularly capture drone video feeds, according to a person familiar with reports on the matter.

Easily fixed now that we know.

BTW, we used to do that to the Russians too.

Yeah...............and now that we know.............well............

CALLING ALL COMPUTER NERDS!!!

Okay......here's the idea...........

We already know the computer program that they're using, and, we already know that quite a few drones need to be retrofitted to enable encryption.

We then need to fix the receivers that don't have encryption as well. (Saw it on the news.)

So.......how about this..........

We know that certain viruses can be keyed to interact with certain computer programs.

We also know that some types of viruses (computer type) can destroy a computer when it becomes infected.

Build a program, that can easily be downloaded onto the transmit cycle of the drones. When it runs into the Sky Grabber program, it activates a zip file, and destroys the computer.

By the way..........2 benefits of this approach.........

Number 1, you get them to quit looking for the transmissions, because they don't want to lose their computers.

Number 2, whenever a computer is spying on a drone, it destroys the computer, thus denying the enemy further attacks along that particular avenue. It would also destroy a lot of their data, thus crippling their planning and intelligence.

What do you think, is it feasible?

OK, the Leftists gave up because they finally realized how STUPID it is to bring Jihadists to trial

Sounds like a plan, but I don't know enough about programing to say if it can be made to work. But think about it, so they were able to watch the drone blow away one of their leaders. Sounds as good as public executions. Maybe they will duck a little bit every time they hear a strange sound in the air.......

US Constitutional Law Bump.

Awaiting explanation as to why only certain Jihadists have standing under the Constitution and we're free to execute the rest
