Looks like a mini B2 to me

That thing is too big just for recon purposes. I am sure they have models slated to be weapons platforms. Kind of like how GM uses the same chassis for different brands of cars in their model lineups.
I have no doubt that it is meant to be stealth. This is just the beginning of the digitally integrated battlefield.
People wonder why the F-117 had all those angular shapes; like the designers had a choice in the matter. The fact was that the computers back then simply weren't powerful enough to compute the geometry of curves for the inherent stealthiness required of the aircraft.
Today, the computational power exists. Coupled with the radar absorbing "skin" made the aircraft damn near invisible to enemy radar.
The Skunkworks have been at it for quite some time. Ever since launching unmanned mechanical drones off the backs of SR-71s streaking across communist China decades ago.
Incredible aviation heritage. We should all be proud.
 
At high altitude, it would be impsossible to detect. I think it is more than recon
