Victoria Toensing: Why has Mueller ignored Obama administration crimes?

"The sorry saga began with a January 12, 2017 column about the Flynn/Kislyak conversations by The Washington Post’s David Ignatius, who described his source as a “senior U.S. government official,” i.e., an Obama administration functionary. Whoever told Ignatius the fact of and substance of the eavesdropped conversations committed a felony by leaking classified information.

The second crime is publicly revealing a U.S. citizen’s identity as being a party to those conversations. When there is authorized intelligence collection of foreign officials, the identity of the U.S. person who is incidentally picked up during that collection is to be minimized (not disclosed), even within the U.S. government. Instead of the party’s name, the document substitutes “[U.S. Person].” There is a process for “unmasking”—obtaining the name of the undisclosed person--when the government official determines knowing the name is important to national security. A written request must be made to the collecting agency that is responsible for the document. Only a handful of officials are given that authority, e.g. NSA has only 20. Perhaps there was a valid need for an Obama official to know Flynn’s identity. That issue is irrelevant. Providing it to Ignatius was a crime."

"Before Flynn flunked remembering every word of a conversation he was asked to recall weeks later, an Obama administration official had egregiously broken the national security and privacy laws. But only Flynn has been charged with a crime.

"Not only was the basis for questioning Flynn a ruse, but more significantly the FBI did not have to ask him about the conversations to determine if there was a crime because it had the transcripts and recordings of every single word. If Flynn had committed any illegal act in the conversations, the Justice Department could have indicted him that day. But it did not. Nor did Mueller ever mention such an illegality in his December 2017 charges against Flynn for false statements."

"Mueller should have pursued these crimes as he is authorized to investigate any crime he finds in the course of the “collusion” investigation. He has had no problem charging Paul Manafort for decades-old tax crimes and looking into former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s taxi medallions. Yet the crimes against Flynn have been ignored. Why?"

WE ALL KNOW WHY!

Mueller's there to hide the crimes of the previous administration. That's his forte, he's the cleaner.

The most telling example of ''LOOKING THE OTHER WAY' is the FACT exists that Obama learned about Russian interference, hacking, and Counter-Intel ops in the US using social media back in 2014 ... and he never did anything about it - he let it continue for 2 YEARS...

...and in his investigation of Russian Interference, after 19 months, Mueller has refused to interview / investigate the actual President on whose watch it all began...

...Barak Obama!

He was tasked to investigate Russian interference and any crime discovered during his investigation. There have been a lot uncovered...none of which he has made any attempt to investigate. Instead, as usual, he has spent the majority of his time hiding / ignoring evidence and manufacturing evidence (perjury traps for leverage to extort false testimony)...

"In May 2017, Mueller was appointed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as special counsel overseeing an ongoing investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and related matters."

Russian interference began in 2014 under Obama, who facilitated it, not stopped it. That definitely qualifies as a 'related matter'!

Because that's not what he was tasked to investigate.

Easy question.

What do you mean? That's the whole premise the investigation was started under.

iu

So, do you think that there is there anyone in the world not conspiring against Donald Trump?
So in your ignorant mind there is no need to question the guy on whose watch the interference began, the guy who knew about it 2 years ago, did nothing, and let it go on for 2 years?

'Nuff said...

You can't fix 'stupid'.

You can with a helicopter...

Obama kicks out the Russian diplomats.

Russia calls Flynn.

Obama was spying on Flynn.

Flynn conspired with Russia!

This is all a bullshit set up. We all know it.

I really have to laugh at these threads. They are truly funny. Let us see, first you condemn Mueller for going beyond his mandate, then you say he is not going far enough. Then you want Mueller to go after Obama, but to the best of my knowledge, Obama was never at any Trump Tower meetings, never worked for the criminal enterprise known as the Trump Organization and not a single Obama staff member has pleaded guilty to a crime.

Continue with your comical deflections. It makes for good entertainment.

Mueller's purpose is to give a Democrat controlled House the document they needed to bring impeachment charges against Trump. That will be his statement.

So, this is what we have:

  • This investigation began because Obama wanted to spy on the Trump campaign
  • They used a fake document paid for by Hillary and the DNC to start an FBI investigation
  • They recommended that Trump fire the FBI director for incompetence
  • They created a Special Council investigation because Trump fired his FBI director
  • The Special Council's report will be the foundation for impeachment
  • They feel that Trump will lose the 2020 election because he had been impeached and thus tainted
So this whole conspiracy is based off of the fact that Obama spied on a political opponent. With the help of the FBI he conducted political espionage against the current president in an attempt to win the 2020 election. The whole purpose of it is purely political. There is no legal basis to any of it. Hillary rigged the 2016 nomination and now Democrats are in the process of rigging the 2020 election.

Yet Obama has committed numerous crimes.....but for some strange reason no prosecutor will attempt to indict him.

Trump is being overwhelmingly exposed as a criminal liar and probably impeachable offenses and his supporters here on USMB are still blabbering bu...bu...bu...Obama.....Hillary.

If you have evidence that Obama committed crimes, you should contact the FBI.

Mueller is not Director of the FBI. He is a Special Counsel, appointed to investigate a very specific scope--namely Russian interference in the 2016 to include any possible collaboration by US persons, and related secondary criminal activity.
