Looking back, the GOP going after Bill Clinton over a BJ seems so petty and small.

When you look at Reagan and Iran Contra.

And Nixon resigning and why.

And Trump's Russian involvement.

Suddenly, Bill getting a BJ seems so insignificant and petty. If you heard Trump describe it, he would be saying "Bill didn't even get any pu$$y".

The Impeachment of Bill Clinton - Bill of Rights Institute

Starr assembled a grand jury, issued dozens of subpoenas, and eventually offered Lewinsky immunity in return for her testimony.

The House of Representatives approved two articles of impeachment, both regarding his relationship with Lewinsky.

The House of Representatives voted to impeach Clinton in 1998 on strict party lines, but in the Senate trial, Republicans fell short of the two-thirds majority needed to convict.

Clinton was impeached for political reasons, not for constitutional reasons.

(Over a BJ. Now consider Trump, Russia and the following:))

the best way to define or explain “high Crimes or Misdemeanors”.
  • Serious breach of duty
  • Grievous injury to the Constitutional system
  • Endangering the liberties of the people
  • Balancing of several factors: damage to the country; seriousness of the offense, how closely related were the offense and the official duties, other possible avenues of redress
  • Abuse of the powers of his office
  • Repeated and various felonious obstructions of justice (Posner, p. 173-An Affair of State)

Trump could be guilty of just about every one of these.

1. He plays golf and watches TV all the time when he should be president.

2. His ignoring the emoluments clause hurts our system.

3. Arming the police like the military and indulging in voter suppression and saying Nazi's are good people endangers the liberties of the people.

Those are just the first three. And it's been less than a year.

Yes it was petty, but it was a different time. More importantly, it was meant to expose an abuse of power and authority; something we are seeing come out today with the #metoo movement. Also, it illustrated just how grossly inaccurate his character was being portrayed. It also was a link to his activities against another where he has been accused of rape.

The guy abused his power like a Good Old Boy, but he wasn't viewed as such since he was a pro-Chinese, globalist Democrat.

So it was all about a BJ? Something millions of men have lied to their wives about. Even Republicans. What a terrible invasion of privacy.

Getting a BJ from a woman who admitted she initiated the contact is an abuse of power and authority? What if it was just about accepting a BJ and saying "thanks"?

Why would you think I know nothing about BJ's? I admit, I never lied. At least, not about a BJ.
