Look Who’s Being Violent! Wisconsin Unions! I Thought Libs Said it was the Tea Party

Are you saying that you do not see a double standard as it relates to the agendae of protesters and how they are portrayed by the media?

Of course there are.

The liberal media demonizes the Tea Partiers and reports favorably on the Wisconsin protesters.

The right wing media demonizes the Wisconsin protesters and joins the Tea Partiers.

Not only the media does it

The Speaker is trapped in his office.

Capitol Police are trying to clear the building to screen for weapons.

There seems to be some very angry people in WI. I don't know why. It was such a clever move the Republicans pulled. Gotta give them props for being so sneaky.

I think after they vote today, the GOP Senators need to runaway for 3 weeks, ignore the Budget, and call it even.

:rofl: although I may not agree with your stances on this...THAT was pretty darn funny!

The speaker of the house did it.
To me? That is crossing the line.

As my uber-iky-liberal sister is fond of saying with a straight face..."It's not really a lie if it could be true" :cuckoo:

Poetically said, let's hope others can fall into this common sense way of thinking soon enough.

Both voters of the 2 popular parties do this stuff, no big deal, it's only going to increase. I don't have a problem with any of it. I don't agree with them, but don't have an issue with them doing what they did.
(I don't vote for either of the 2 big parties).

But just hope that the members of the party you don't like on this board don't save this thread for when tea partiers or republicans do something similar and you don't start threads to speak out against it. You'll look like hypocrites.

I disagree that both parties do this. Republicans usually work at their jobs instead of running down on orders from some political union hack to shout and pound on walls.

Except for the Petroleum industry busing in their workers for Energy Citizens that was their event.

But yeah so violent. THE DOOR POUND OF DEATH.

You sound like its a first person account. Need me to come bust you out?

I think I'm good for now, but if I start posting about Bill Clinton, that will be our sign.....

I think the Capitol Police are now preparing tear gas (rumored on a twitter post from someone at the Capitol).

I'm still searching Twitter, but I can't verify this yet, though I'd be surprised if it hadn't already been done.

Cool, I like those as breath mints!

Can't find the tweet, but I would be shocked if the Police hadn't had tear gas ready to go since the protests began.

Who wouldn't be angry that their promise of a good life and a comfortable retirement now be yanked back by the evil Republicans. (I say this tongue in cheek of course) The public sector has enjoyed a lifestyle nearly that of a politician, with Viagra even covered in thier health plan. Wisconsin is the first battleground where the policies of greed come face to face with a state going bankrupt. Will taxpayers be willing to bear higher taxers just so the clerk down at the DMV gets better health care?

To be honest, I was shocked they didn't storm it earlier.

I was mildly shocked that the Senators were able to leave without getting their asses beat by the tolerant party of the left.

But that is coming, I'm sure.

Ah yes, those tolerant progressive heros on the left :eusa_whistle:

Oh yeah......those teachers are really rolling in the dough with a $25,000 starting salary. :eusa_whistle:

How does that compare to the starting salary of any recent college grad in Wisconsin?

And dont forget.....college grads NOT in teaching dont only work 180 days a year for their salary...they work more in line with 245 days a year....a difference of 65 days...or OVER 1/3 more a year.....and whereas teachers work form 8-4.....non teachers work 8:30 to 5:30

So that being said...what is wrong with them getting a package a little more in line with what the state can afford?

You mean 5-6 year college grad or professional degree grad, right? One does not become a qualified teacher with just a Bachelors anymore. Didn't you know that?
