None of her husbands abuse was Hillarys fault, to be sure. She did not give birth to Bill Clinton, or raise him, or inculcate him with the contemptuous and contemptible attitudes toward women he carried into his adult life. She did not make him oblivious to the pain, embarrassment, rage or depression his behavior caused. She simply tolerated his behavior, even going so far as to call his detractors a right-wing conspiracy as if the charges that eventually disbarred and impeached him were pure figments of imagination.
