Yah, many blacks are not shy about these situations either. It's like a gang mentality for them, us vs. them. Severe peer pressure plays a major part. From my experience, many want to play ball but tend to feel obligations to their race.

I think the problem started during deposition of the jury. If she lied while being questioned about her feelings about the defendant's race they should have been able to catch it.

Many feel that blacks are constantly being picked on by whites and justice is unfair.

You do realize that every jury for a black man (or Latino) since at least the 80s (mostly the 70s) had at least one black (or Latino) on it. And the jails are filled with Blacks (and Latinos).

Has it occurred that the justice systems is the problem and not the people? Most of those locked up are there because of plea deals drawn up by stupid DAs to boost their conviction rate numbers, less convictions means less funding to law enforcement. A good number of those who take such plea deals lack money for good lawyers and have piss poor public defenders that work hand and hand with the DAs.
