Saudi Arabia is to allow its women athletes to compete in the Olympics for the first time.

A statement issued by the Saudi Embassy in London says the country's Olympic Committee will "oversee participation of women athletes who can qualify".

The decision will end recent speculation as to whether the entire Saudi team could have been disqualified on grounds of gender discrimination.

Amputee Missing Both Legs Will Compete in Olympic 400 Meters
July 4, 2012 — Oscar Pistorius has been selected to run in both the individual 400 meters and the 4x400-meter relay at the London Olympics and is set to become the first amputee track athlete to compete at any games.
In a surprising last-minute decision Wednesday, South Africa's Olympic committee and national track federation cleared the double amputee to run in his individual event. The Olympic committee earlier announced that Pistorius had been picked only for the relay.

Olympic committee chief executive Tubby Reddy tells The Associated Press that the track body asked for permission to also allow Pistorius to run the 400, even though he had not met their qualifying criteria.

The 25-year-old Pistorius, who runs on carbon fiber blades, called it "one of the proudest days of my life."

Speaking of the olympics, didn't two of your co-religionist converts to Islam just get arrested in London for plotting to blow them up? Tell the truth now, Achmed Chos.

The British citizens arrested have now been released and will probably be seeking damages from the Police
Police arrested the men, aged 18 and 32, last Thursday morning on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism after a major operation along the banks of the Olympic canoeing venue in Waltham Abbey, Essex.

The men were held for two days before being released on Saturday with no further action taken.

Gee, that's not the information being put out AS OF TODAY by the British. Looks like Muslim animals are doing a full court press trying to blow up innocent athletes, like they did in Munich. I bet if God forbid something happens, dirtbags like you will blame da Jooooooos, no?

London Olympics Terror Threat: Raid Near Olympic Stadium, Police Arrest 6
By RAPHAEL SATTER 07/05/12

LONDON — British police used smoke grenades and a stun gun in an early-morning swoop Thursday on a home close to London's Olympic Park, as six terror suspects were rounded up in a series of raids across the city.

Officers said the five men and one woman were detained following an operation to monitor their activities and insisted their alleged plans to stage attacks had no link to London's upcoming Summer Games, which begin on July 27.

Police didn't identify the suspects, who range in age from 18 to 30. However, Mizanur Rahman, who is involved with a Muslim activist group, said all those arrested were British Muslims. Three of the men were detained in Newham, the London borough which contains the Olympic Park. Officers said a 24-year-old suspect was hit by a Taser gun during his arrest, but did not require hospital treatment.

Rahman said the three men were brothers.

Until now I never thought of the terriorist but what a great opportunity. I bet they don't let it pass by. I don't want to profile but anybody want to make a guess as to who it might be?

Yeah, let's just take a wild guess as to exactly which group of people is being watched and monitored by the British for possible terrorist threats like 24 / 7?!

"Progress" would be letting women to walk around where they want, dressed however they want and not fear getting beaten by the Religious Gestapo.
