In a scene from his new anti-Trump film, “Michael Moore in TrumpLand,” the Oscar-winning filmmaker predicts that Donald Trump will win the Nov. 8 presidential election because the middle class is fed up with the establishment and will vote for the Republican nominee as a “f*** you” to Washington.
“He is the human Molotov cocktail they have been waiting for,” Moore says. “The human hand grenade that they can legally throw into the system that stole their lives from them.”
And Team Trump is trying to use the filmmaker’s warning — and film — as a tacit endorsement of his campaign.
Milo Yiannopoulos, writer for the conservative website Breitbart, posted a video to Facebook earlier this week with audio of Moore’s remarks and claimed that filmmaker was making the “case for voting Trump.” The clip, which has been viewed more than 9 million times, concludes with Moore saying, “Trump’s election is going to be the biggest ‘f*** you’ ever recorded in human history, and it will feel good.”
