One of the benefits of living in N'ville is that we have a kajillion session musicians here who play together in local clubs. One of those groups is called The Players. I've seen them many times and the bass player, Michael Rhodes, just blows me away. Here, they're at 3rd & Lindsley, my favorite venue for live music. Each of these guys are super talents in his own right and they've all played with some of the biggest names in music.

There are tons of N'ville musicians I will post to this thread.

One more for today...

Two-Bit Eddie is another gig I'd recommend. This is one of the best cover bands I've seen, doing music a lot of us grew up with from the 60s and 70s. The keyboard player, Arnie Reed, is a friend. These guys are a lot of fun and guaranteed to get you moving. Their website is TWO-BIT EDDIE

I have one more of The Players I want to include here...this with Rick Derringer.

Remember Delaney and Bonnie? Bonnie (Bramlett) appears around N'ville some, often showing up at one of her daughter Bekka Bramlett's gigs. Bekka has as much talent as her mom and has the good sense, too, to forge her own style. She's also a sought after songwriter.

There's a lot going on here...multi-Grammy winner Ashley Cleveland, with husband Kenny Greenberg on guitar and Michael Rhodes on bass. Kenny often shows up in pick-up bands with other studio musicians and is fun to watch. He and Michael have tooo much fun in this one! Cleveland commands the best both on stage and in the recording studio. Caught a CD release party of hers at 3rd Lindsley, a CD featuring Rhodes on bass, hubby on guitar, and keyboard killer Reese Wynans. She won a Grammy for that one, produced by hubby.
