Little Friend on My Front Tire

When I was moving from Reno back to Wisconsin, I no more than parked my truck for the night at a motel, got out of the drivers side and walked around to the passenger side to get some things out, and this guy was on my passenger side front tire. I had to get a few shots of him...

It amazed me he got on the tire so fast. Must have been flying and I no more than stopped and he lit. It was somewhere just across the Nebraska, Iowa border into Iowa. It was kind of balmy and there was like a little slew or wetland next to the motel. I'm sure it was fully of prime pickens as far as eatin' for that guy.

Me either. I always thought they were green.

.....

They turn to brown late in the season. I get 5 or 6 in my south facing holly bushes every summer.
